![]() The transmission starts with the STX (Start of Text) ASCII character 0x02, followed by a 5. I've connected it as all the tutorials say (that is: TX to RX1 Serial, RX to TX1 Serial, GND, 3,3V on two pins of it, and I've also tried to connect RST). It sends the ID to a serial port of any tag that is close. By sending and decoding a single character it is easy to add a simple debug menu or even serial menu. The computer could be a PC, a Raspberry Pi, or any device that communicates with serial. I know that it works with 3,3 V and I've tried to program it either with Arduino UNO (risking to broke it with 5V) and with Arduino DUE (which works with 3,3V). Sending simple serial commands to an Arduino is the easiest way to communicate between an Arduino and a computer. I'm new to Arduino and I've just bought a new module ESP8266.
